carFlippy is a trading name of Sandbanks Digital. Sandbanks Digital ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the carFlippy public website, customer application, and related services.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, contact-form message, postcode, vehicle registration, listing URL, search parameters, and account details. We also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, including request logs, browser and device characteristics, and approximate location derived from network information.

3. Cookieless Website Analytics

Our public marketing website uses our self-hosted Umami service to understand aggregate page visits and product interactions. It is configured without analytics or advertising cookies. The reports may include the page viewed, referring site, browser, operating system, device type, country, and the time of a visit. We do not send email addresses, account details, complete listing URLs, registration numbers, or free-text form entries to Umami.

4. Cookies and Browser Storage

The public marketing website does not set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. If you create an account or sign in, the customer application uses a strictly necessary, secure HttpOnly session cookie so that you remain authenticated. The browser may also store essential interface preferences and temporary workflow state, such as an unfinished guest check. These items are not used for cross-site advertising.

5. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to provide, maintain, and improve our services, including personalized profit calculations, automated discovery alerts, and customer support. We may also use your data to communicate with you about updates, offers, and promotions. We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties.

Contact-form messages are delivered through Resend, our email-delivery provider, to the carFlippy support inbox. The name, reply address, selected topic, and message you submit are processed for that purpose. Contacting support does not add you to a marketing list.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the service.
